I offer affordable options while still delivering high-quality photos that tell your story in an authentic way. Elopement packages start at $750, and wedding packages range from $2,000 to $4,500, depending on travel and hours of coverage.

The Photography Experience

One day, you’ll look back on your wedding day, flipping through an album filled with the moments that meant the most. The memories will always stay with you, but your photos will bring those stories to life for the people who couldn’t be there and for the ones who aren’t here yet.

As your photographer, my job is to capture the heart of your day and create something that feels timeless and uniquely yours. From our first chat to your engagement session and every moment of your wedding day, I will be there to guide you. Whether it is keeping the timeline on track, carrying a little emergency kit, or designing an album that reflects your love story, I am here to make sure everything feels effortless and unforgettable.

Meet Your Photographer

Hi, I’m Melissa Joy, and I’ve been lucky enough to spend over a decade doing what I love: telling stories through photography. These days, I call Nashville, TN home. My work, however, often takes me to wherever life’s most memorable moments unfold. My style focuses on capturing vibrant, true-to-color images that are both timeless and full of heart.

I am passionate about creating photos that showcase authentic connections and emotions, with just the right touch of elegance to stand the test of time. It might sound like a cliché, but I truly believe this is what I am meant to do. Capturing the beauty, joy, and magic in life is what drives me.

The Process

  • Step 1: Consultation

    Think we might be a good fit? Let’s set up a time to chat! Whether we meet for coffee or hop on a video call, I’d love to hear all about your wedding plans and vision for the big day. We’ll go over everything you need to know about reserving your date, including the contract and deposit.

  • Step 2: Engagement Photos

    Select packages include a complimentary engagement session. It’s the perfect way for us to connect and get comfortable working together before the big day. You’ll walk away with beautiful photos that are perfect for your save-the-dates, invitations, or announcements.

  • Step 3: Wedding Day

    On your wedding day, I’ll be there to capture every moment while you simply live them. My goal is to help you soak in the joy, knowing your memories are being beautifully preserved. I’ll take care of the details so you can focus on what matters most: celebrating with the people you love.

  • Step 4: Digital Gallery Delivery

    Within days of your wedding, I’ll share some sneak peeks to give you a glimpse of your beautiful day. Your full gallery will arrive within 4 weeks, where you can view, download, and share your images. You’ll also have the option to order professional prints and products directly from the gallery.

  • Step 5: Heirloom Album Delivery

    After you’ve had time to enjoy your digital gallery, I’ll send over the design for your wedding album (depending on your package). You’ll have the chance to make any tweaks before we finalize it. Then, within 4 weeks, your beautiful heirloom album will be ready for the coffee table.

  • The Essentials | $2,000

    4 hours of photography, 1 photographer, an online gallery with 200+ high-resolution edited images, and a print release for all your memories.


  • The Signature | $2,750

    6 hours of photography, 1 photographer, 1 hour of rehearsal coverage, an online gallery with 300+ high-resolution edited images, a print release, and an engagement session (with 50+ photos included).

  • The Elite | $4,500

    8 hours, 2 photographers, full-day and 1-hour rehearsal coverage. Includes an online gallery with 400+ high-resolution images, a print release, an engagement session (50+ photos), and a 10x10 heirloom album to preserve your memories.

  • Elopements | $1,750

    4 hours of photography, 1 photographer, a pre-elopement consultation, travel within 50 miles, and 100+ high-resolution images delivered via an online gallery
