Well, you found my website… That makes me official, right?

I’m Melissa Joy - a photographer, watercolorist, and home illustrator all in one (sounds pretty official to me). I grew up in sunny Southwest Florida where my parents nurtured my love for all things creative. Even as a child, I found that there were so many ways to express appreciation for the sweetness of the current moment - taking pictures, crafting, painting, and writing in my little pink journal. That part of me never really went away.

I love people. I love their stories. I love storytelling. I want to be a part of it and this is the best way I know how. It makes me feel connected, like I belong, and I hope my work makes you feel that way too.
